At Home: Making Granola

Awoke this morning to birds chirping, sun shining and a bluebird sky (this is not NYC, as you might have guessed). So I got all earth-mothery and decided to make my own granola. I worked loosely off of Mark Bittman’s recipe from his Bitten blog, using cashews, almonds, sunflower seeds, shredded coconut and apricot for my mix. Start to finish it took about 45 minutes and now I have this big bowl o’ delish granola for the week.

    so CUTE!! hope this will inspire dickie to make this for himself! rid ourselves of the box and welcome a glass jar full of deliciousness.
